The park has a large catchment area of customers including local residents and seasonal visitors. The Waterpark incorporates the latest available ride innovations in the industry, with uphill water coasters, surfing machines, ride conveyors as well as the more usual attractions. In-depth computer studies together with large scale modelling were carried out on the complex river network s to achieve optimum hydraulic flows.
The project included the design, supervision and commissioning of the Waterpark, with the contract commencing in early 2000 and completed in 2001. The total project had a value of US$20 million. The installation includes: - Flowing ‘Transportation’ river

Key Features - Creation of an advanced Waterpark on an unused area of South Padre Island.
- The matrix of slides and special profiles of flowing river and waterways were designed so as to maximise energy efficiency.
- Centra lised water treatment and chemical disinfection were designed at an early stage to facilitate efficient operation and maintenance.

The swimming baths at Fullwell Cross originally housed a 33 metre long, eight lane pool which was constructed in 1967. This was sub divided at a later date into a 25 metre long main pool and learner pool using a fixed boom and fixed false floor.
