Clean Water Network Services
Biwater, through its subsidiary company, Farrer Consulting, manages water supply networks using an Integrated Network Management Strategy. This involves strategic planning, detailed network analysis and subsequent design development.
There are various specialist tools we can apply to achieve the best results. Network modelling is a powerful tool in solving distribution problems and optimising investment plans. Hydraulic zoning systems also give us a greater understanding of the networks and help to reduce non -revenue water. These techniques allow us to optimise the performance of existing assets and along with efficient billing systems to maximise revenue and ensure good levels of service.
Wastewater Network Services
Increasing pressures on drainage systems are raising the incidence of unacceptable sewer flooding - particularly in urban areas.
We tackle this problem using data management and spatial software and by taking a comprehensive look at asset data, hydraulic information, condition surveys, records of spillages to water courses and flooding data. We then use the information to design systems for managing wastewater and storm water drainage in a sustainable and cost effective way.
