Biwater Treatment Invests £2 Million in New Plant

Plant is hired primarily in-house to Biwater contracts, although some of the bigger pieces of equipment, such as the cranes are also hired externally. All equipment is hired through the department of Biwater Treatment, called Biwater Plant, which is based in Oxford.

The increase in investment has not only meant that Biwater Plant has been able to purchase new equipment, but it has also meant that over the last twelve months Biwater Plant has been able to more than double the amount of staff working for it. The Biwater Plant team provide all levels of support from administration to plant operators and fitters.

The strategic aim of the plant department is to take the turnover from £1 million to £4.5 million by 2012. To support this growth Biwater Treatment will open a second plant depot in Scotland to serve the northern region.
