Biwater AEWT (BAEWT) has delivered all four Reverse Osmosis Trains on time to the Santa Monica Water Treatment Plant in Los Angeles, CA. The new plant will deliver 9.28 million gallons per day (MGD) (35,130 m3/day) of high quality drinking water.

Today, 18th February 2010, Biwater (BVI) Limited won a BOOT contract with the Government of the British Virgin Islands for a sea-water desalination plant. The plant will produce 2.3 million imperial gallons of potable water per day, has a construction value of US$43 million and a subsequent 16 year operation and maintenance period.

Biwater AEWT Delivers 9.28 MGD Reverse Osmosis System

Biwater AEWT (BAEWT) has delivered all four Reverse Osmosis Trains on time to the Santa Monica Water Treatment Plant in Los Angeles, CA.  The new plant will deliver 9.28 million gallons per day (MGD) (35,130 m3/day) of high quality drinking water. 

Following complete assembly, preliminary testing and quality checks in our fabrication facility, the four Reverse Osmosis Units were each partially disassembled for transportation purposes.

BAEWT is also supplying the pretreatment system, high pressure pumps, clean in place and flush systems, as well as complete PLC control and Instrument Panels which are scheduled to be delivered in March and April this year.  Start-up and Commissioning of the plant is scheduled to take place in August.
