California, USA – 6 March 2024: Biwater Inc. is continuing to expand as a leading membrane technology provider, and with extensive business growth, it has become necessary to relocate the company’s headquarters and factory to a larger facility in Rancho Cucamonga, California.

The new facility, which is 2.5 times larger than the current one, will serve as Biwater Inc’s design, manufacturing and operations center. This state-of-the-art facility will enable Biwater Inc. to increase its production of custom membrane technologies for water filtration, water reuse and desalination, while also expanding its research, development and testing capabilities.

Richard White, President of Biwater Inc., said that the relocation was driven by the company’s substantial growth over the past 24 months, which has resulted in over $40 million in recent orders. He commented, “Having only moved to our current facility less than five years ago, our team is thankful that the new factory and headquarters are just next door. We’ve been bursting out of our current facility, and we will now be able to expand our research, development, and testing capabilities, in addition to being able to efficiently fabricate many more systems.”

This move follows Biwater Inc’s relocation to Rancho Cucamonga, California in 2019, where the company moved to a facility three times larger than its previous one. The 2019 relocation enabled Biwater Inc. to expand its delivery capacity and enhance its range of products and services. However, Biwater Inc. has continued to grow its market share having bid and won several key projects, making it essential to relocate once again to support its expansion.

Biwater built its first major reverse osmosis plant in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia in 1971. Over the subsequent decades, Biwater has built up an extensive track-record in membrane systems – designing, procuring, manufacturing and constructing plants and systems to treat surface water, seawater, brackish water and municipal wastewater. As a result, Biwater’s Desalination and Membrane Treatment Sector have an installed municipal and industrial membrane treatment capacity of over 550 MGD per day.

Biwater Inc’s new address is 8760 White Oak Ave, Rancho Cucamonga, California, 91730.
